Making small mental changes can impact your life in a large way. We are going to share with you a simple tip to make your life better.  The hardest part and most researched part about losing weight is by far and away the mental aspect.  Stopping ourselves from eating all those little snacks is harder than it seems for most.  Stress is a major factor in losing weight.  When you’re stressed you tend to reach out and just put something in your mouth so that you get some physiologic satisfaction.

Believe it or not there was another interesting study on losing weight that was just released.  It was how the words you use can change your behavior.  Probably no surprise there.  The surprise comes when over 80.7 percent of the women who began using this actually ended up losing substantially more weight than those that didn’t.  That high of a percentage is defiantly nothing to shake a stick at.

I bet at this point your chomping at the bit for what that secret little word was.  When I tell you what it is you’re going to probably think I’m lying.  But then once I explain the reason, you’ll believe it whole hearted. Remember this women took this seriously and did it every day for thirty days. The mental shift was coming from using the word snack and replacing it with meal for anything that wasn’t breakfast lunch or dinner. So if you replace you thinking to say meal instead of snack for all those times between the three square meals you’ll be light years ahead. The question you probably have then is why do they think it worked?  Because when these women thought of what they were eating as a meal they made better decisions about what they eat.  They weren’t eating snacks, they we’re eating meals.  Smaller meals, but none the less, meals.

At this point you can see the power of this little strategy. Eating five or six meals compared to 3 big meals and some snacks makes a big difference in mental status and keeps your body in a fat burning state full of steady energy. Have fun with this and start today!
