specific-acceletrimWe can think of things in a broad way, and this is good and all, but to get really good results thinking of things in a specific way can work a lot better.  Although if you get too specific it can turn into information overload, so try not to get too specific, but specific enough so that it helps you take action.

It can be thought up in your head that you want to get more exercise in.  It ends up feeling so good once we get going with exercise.  The hardest part is getting started and getting going with it.  This is the case with a lot of things in our life, difficult to start, but once it is started it becomes fun and enjoyable.

The thought of getting more exercise is a good one, and you can think that you will do it, but if you don’t figure out what you are going to do, then more than likely it will not happen.  It will be one of those things where you think you should do more of it, but never do it.  A great way to get it going is to set a time aside for what you are going to do.  If you want to exercise and you are going to go for a brisk walk around the lake, then set aside a specific time.  If you have a friend that you really enjoy talking too and hanging out with, get on the phone and invite them to meet you at a specific time.  Once they say yes, then you are going to have to meet them there and exercise.  Bring along your acceletrim for the both of you and don’t forget your water for the walk.  This is a great way to get the exercise implemented and done.  If you find yourself week after week thinking that you need more exercise and don’t get it in, then try this out.  It is kind of like a way of making yourself do it, but in a positive way.  It is never fun making yourself do anything, but rather do something that you want to do.
