There’s a lot of debate over the high protein/low carb diets and low fat diets.  There’s good and bad sides to them both.  Obviously long term eating a whole bunch of velveta, bacon, and mean isn’t good for your health or your ticker.  But on the other hand, just to play devils advocate, all that ugly extra fat is probably a lot worse.  There’s a healthy way and an unhealthy way to do the low carb thing.  Lots of veggies and lean meats cutting out the major high sugar carbs will help you drop pounds, water, and get thin quick.  A diet of fresh foods is good.  Eating a diet without any processed, boxed up, dry food will only help your cause when you’re trying to get thin, trim, and attractive for the opposite sex.  It’s easy to do when you go out to so you don’t have to look like your on a diet and have everyone ask you about it.  It’s easy to just say “give me a salad with chicken” and not be embarrassed about being on a diet.  The first couple days are the hardest.  Once you get over the sugar highs and lows after the first seventy two hours it isn’t so bad.  It does take it’s toll on your energy levels, but like we said, getting rid of the excess fat and cardiovascular risk is the long term goal.  Short term this type of diet plan will defiantly get you jump started.

It’s a lot easier to just commit to eating things that don’t’ come in a box and getting something to eat every three hours throughout the day.  Making sure that each one of those meals is balanced with fats, carbs, and proteins.  All in all the multi-meal small portion approach is the healthiest way to get from point a to point b in a hurry.  Getting thin and healthy can be easy and fun, especially with some kind of help boosting your metabolism, increasing the way your body burns fat and curbing your cravings. It’s hard enough to do it with a little help.  Without it, it’s even harder.
